This is the later fuel injected model that Yamaha evolved into these models for the final phase 2008-2014. Being injected the bike is more refined than the carburettor model and delivered smoother throttle response, faster acceleration, better fuel efficiency, and fewer emissions.

It is also the super top of the range Silverado S model that came from the factory with every conceivable option fitted including lockable colour co-ordinated hard bags, windshield, sissy bar, alloy wheels, footboards and lashings of chrome to the forks, handlebar controls and engine guards. This model here also has the luggage rack fitted and has been fitted with the slightly higher than normal mid ape bars.

Finished in gorgeous grey metallic, we have had the rims and the pulley powdercoated in gloss black with brand new whitewall tyres fitted.

If you are looking at this bike you probably know that this model represents the absolute pinnacle of both the Yamaha Roadstar range (the European market only offered the Wildstar XV1600 which finished in 2003) and the archetypical metric Cruiser that set out to compete directly with the Harley-Davidson Fatboy.
