Kawasaki was one of the first Japanese manufacturers to bring to market a “muscle cruiser”, in 2002 the Meanstreak was released as a 1500 but 2 years later there was an upgrade. For the 2004 model year, Kawasaki made the first significant changes to the Mean Streak. First and foremost, is an engine displacement increase from 1470cc to 1552cc. This came courtesy of a 5mm increase in piston stroke. Cam duration, lift and valve timing were also changed to improve low-end and mid-range performance.

Other changes to the 2004 Mean Streak were less significant, and included new valve covers, polished and reshaped cooling fins, as well as new brake master cylinder and clutch cylinder housing.

These Meanstreak models really give you a lot to work with, they are quick, torquey, comfortable and also have great handling, whilst compared to their competitors like the VTX1800 or the XV1700 Warrior you won’t have to put your hands as deep down in your pockets.

This bike right here is a stunning example that we purchased from its 2nd owner over in Florida.

The bike has been babied from new, garage kept and by the looks of the condition probably never seen a wet road – the bike is absolutely stunning and also fitted with the Vance and Hines exhaust giving it that notorious V Twin lope, check the video for confirmation.

Since we have had the bike we have as with all of our bikes given it a full check over, replaced the fuel pump, fork seals, rebuilt the brakes and it has had an oil/filter change.

The bike is in top condition and ready to ride.
