I took this bike in a few months ago with the plan to give it a mini makeover over the winter, and I’m thrilled with how it’s turned out!

We started by rebuilding both the front and rear brakes, including brand new front discs. The carbs were removed, ultrasonically cleaned, and completely rebuilt, so the bike now runs flawlessly. It’s also had a full service, including a new battery, new fuel pump, oil and filter change, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, and all fresh fluids. The old fuel was drained and replaced with fresh Esso E5 Synergy Plus (ethanol-free!). Plus, the bike now boasts a brand new clutch, including the steel plates.

As for the styling, since the bike was originally black, I’ve kept that theme going throughout. The Vance & Hines exhaust, wheels, and pulley have all been freshly powder-coated in gloss black. I’ve also painted the forks, engine, top of the triple trees, rear disc, engine side covers, and various other accessories to match the new look.

To add some contrast and complete the look, I’ve fitted white wall tyres, which really make the bike stand out!

All in all, this bike looks, sounds, and rides absolutely superb. As mentioned, it’s truly one of the best value Wildstars out there.
