2006 Yamaha XV1700 Roadstar Custom Beach Cruiser – SN309

Here is a bike I bought on my last trip to Florida with the intention to use it as a project base for a beach cruiser that I had swirling around in my mind.

The base bike is a 2006 Yamaha Road Star XV1700 that was originally blue/silver. I purchased it from a High School teacher in Naples.

Once back in the UK the bike was totally stripped down and all panels sent to Liam at The Paint Lab for the unique two tone retro paint job.

While the bike was away we fitted new 32mm beach handle-bars, brand new Avon Whitewall tyres, custom built stainless exhausts, super rare chrome seat rail along with luggage rack fitted to the Silverado seat and lowered rear fender to give the right stance.

This bike now up there with the quality of customs built in the States and would certainly turn heads at Daytona and has garnered plenty of positive comments from Facebook forum members in the USA.
